Why are people so easily offended by differing opinions?

It's seems that whenever my opinion is different from someone else's they are instantly biased.
Why is that?
On some of my mytakes I've been getting some hate.
How do I make my opinion less "in your face" I guess?
So people will respond better to mytakes.
I'm tired of people constantly judging me for my opinion that I'm entitled to.
Is it the way I'm writing that makes them so angry?

Humans are emotional creatures, not rational ones. The frontal lobe [the evolved, "rational" part of the brain]'s primary purpose is simply to rationalize baser instincts from the amygdala. The purpose of the frontal lobe is to make the limbic system happy.

So. People have emotional attachments to concepts and ideologies, rather than basing them off of facts or logic. Logic is involved, but usually only as a means to justify instinctual happiness--just to make their limbic system happy. Often times, this is a method of "identity". Whose "team" are you on? I am on "this" team.

If you want to make your opinions less "in your face" then you have to express your opinions in question form. I. e., The Socratic Method. You can't come at people like you know everything and they know nothing. That triggers their defensiveness. This is difficult to do, because it requires you to throw your pride away. It requires you to be above what others think about you. You are going to represent yourself as ignorant, as a means to sidestep *their* pride and make *them* think about the topic for themselves, rather than triggering their "Me vs you" instinct.

Which is another instinct. Humans are very "my team" vs "their team." We naturally form groups, right. And we naturally pick teams, and we easily demonize others who are not the same as us. This is why crowds will literally kill each other over a football game, in the stands. "My team is better than your team."

They simply melt under any kind of adversity, cannot stand to be challenged, and demand they not be subjected to disagreement. It's an entitled and fragile mindset, very popular on college campuses.

Quit being tired - accept that people do this. Consider that your opinions and preferences do not always need to be conveyed. Too many people think that while they are entitled to speak their mind, there are no consequences for doing so. Realize not everyone wants or needs to hear it. But I know, I do it too, in some cases for shock value, or to drive a point, even to antagonize. They're no match. LOL

To my knowledge, people have a weird warped perception about life and how people should think and they think they should police other people for some big power ego trip. Maybe they're lonely? Maybe they're damaged from drug taking? Who knows? Gag is their only life here. Real life isn't enough anymore for them.

Because of close-mindedness and lack of experience. People like like-minded views and often believe their opinion is a fact instead of an opinion. When someone proposes a differing opinion, they think it's attacking their 'fact'.

Anyway, you can't make people less judgmental. You can conform to human norms, or accept being controversial. Either way, you will always find your place, people who support you.

For the record, can you give me an example of where people were judging you negatively for your opinion? I might be able to rationalise it.

People are getting like this nowadays, back in day civil discourse was much better, we could see (in my country, the US lacks those kind of parties) comunists, neo liberals, socialists, Maoists, conservative Christians all in the same debate, talking about view points and ideas and giving their best to win the people over.
Our most famous debate was between the communist party founder and the socialist party founder where the communist was wrecked, the other guy went to Russia before the end of the ussr and told it how it was. 40 years have passed and the two parties are still mad at eachoter

My theory is that deep down these people know all they're saying is random nonesense, so of course they have to deny facts and differing opinions by "being offended" since they would loose face otherwhise. Or even worse not have anything to conplain about. Or even worse than that: actually have to go to a place where whatever they are "fighting" for doesn't already exist and have to to actual work to achieve that. I mean do you guys see feminists flying to the middle east to protest? Propably not. What they do instead os go on about a noneexistant wage gap and how men are privileged in any way even though most of the time that's nothing but utter bullshit. A lot of it has to be done with us (me included) becoming this rigid and blunt character behind the mask of a screen.

Also, a lot has to do with how we write comments. When we are goving an opposing view, we almost sound like we are challenging for a physical arm wrestling bout. We need to learn how to do political conversation. Even if we have a findamentally different view, we should learn to write it in a way that sounds passive and not something to begin a heated debate.

"They are instantly biased" they have a different opinion to you, of course they are going to be biased towards their own opinion... that's why it's their opinion. Why does your opinion need to be less "in your face". As you say, you are entitled to it.

I believe people use the word offended today when they really mean disagree. There has been a linguistic shift that I've seen where more sensationalist words and phrases are used purposelfully to illicit an emotional response. Along with this shift and rise in emotional extremism has been social media where people are invited to share their visceral emotional responses with their friends. This rise, in my view has fostered people getting offended more easily.

Some people can't handle the fact that their worldview is not shared by others. I'm down for debates, but your opinions are your own.
I've personally noticed that when mytakes insinuate something, such as all men are scum, whether directly or indirectly, you will naturally have someone disagree with it because they believe they do not fit the criticisms/insults

Worry not at all about being received well or properly. Some will accept your views, and some will reject them. I urge you to avoid anyone who either accepts your views or rejects them entirely. People get offended by differing opinions nowadays because they lived in echo chambers and safe spaces for so long that anything different is then perceived as a threat to their very existence and must be shouted down before world war 3 starts.
