Why millennial adults still act like children?

I noticed how the generation Millennials have not mentally left high school. I have noticed most people in their early 30's love drama. I mean this are grown old adults age 30 and over. I have noticed that when a millennial does not get their way they throw a fit as they were a 5 year old child. At work the other day for example I got stressed out and irritated which leaded me to have an argument at the work place with this 32 year old guy a coworker seems to be more interested in being the cool manager to a bunch of college kids Gen Z instead of making more money and making big sales. I personally I do not allowed my employees to talk at work unless it's with customers and they better be taking care of customer service. It's all about the sales and winning the customer I told my employees. I got one complaint from a customer the employees are done on my book. Now I noticed this immature behavior with people my age category. I had noticed now a days we still have 30 year olds living under mommy and daddy's roof. Ridiculous how they blame today's economy from their lazy choices while parents still pay for their phone bills. Adults are no longer acting like adults anymore which is sad. If I am established it's not because of oh you I become lucky no. I knew better to save as much money as possible. I was working extra hours working over time while my class 2011 decided to be dumb and hit the clubs look where it got them to no where. Still we have 30 year olds partying clubbing and hitting the bars. I wonder why can't millennials just act like normal adults? You never saw this behavior with Generation X and Generation Boomers. What is going on with millennials generation?

Gen-X got disciplined. We learned respect for others and ourselves. As an example, four months after my brother was killed in a road accident when I was 13, I was called to the headmaster to explain why my grades had dropped. I was small for my age then (not any more 😂) and he was 6'4" and played as a full back. He loomed over me and spoke aggressively to ask for an explanation.

In true Gen-X fashion - knowing I could get the cane for doing it - I looked him square in the eye and said "maybe my brother being killed has something to do with it, sir..."

He moved back, sat down and shrank.

I was respectful, but firm. No hissy fit. Didn't call my parents to fight for me.

That's how the silent generation does it.

It's also why nobody sane picks a fight with us.

Millennials, unfortunately, are a product of some younger Gen-X trying to "protect" the little shits they popped out instead of teaching them how the world works. They got a prize for "participation" instead of learning the hard truth that in a race between 100 people, 99 don't win. So now they dye their hair blue or pink, eat avocado on toast and bitch about literally anything.

And the rest of us are sick of it. The world would be a better place if more of them had been swallowed.

I don't know, but don't be a workplace Nazi. Customers always complain when they don't get their way, you shouldn't fire employees when a customer complains. Also not letting employees talk to each other is ridiculous. It's not the 1800's and they aren't slaves. If you give employees hell for talking or because customers complain and fire them, sooner or later you are going to have to have to face one of them in the parking lot for fucking with their life. There's no need for that.

They've been coddled, shielded, monitored. There's learned helplessness, never having to take responsibility or say I'm sorry, have every moment of their day scheduled, parents excuse them, indulge them and they never learn the value of anything.

20 years in the classroom so I'm very familiar with the kids now aged 25-45 years old. The good news is they grow out of it mostly. Just delayed.

Because instead of being educated correctly they're only taught how to pass exams. They have no social skill due to over use of technology, have little common or general knowledge either

Thank god i don't have to work in such a toxic environment, where talking is prohibitted and you are judged for your personal life choices.

Work is work not a place for socializing. Not sure what place you live in. But the task at work must always get done.

All millennials and Gen Z are problematic people. I agree with 60 year olds 30year olds are spoiled selfish grown brats.

I'd say yes there certainly are some and the under 30 are even much worse.
