The difference between children and mature functional adults is that children are driven by their self-interests. Adults are driven by the interests in keeping subsequent generations alive.
Children do not have much empathy; they cannot "put themselves in others' shoes" very well.
Mature functional adults can.
No I think there is a diferent perespective when you're an adult it doesn't mean you don't have impulses to act irresponsibly sometimes but I don't think adults are children.
Shiii, i don't think so. those adults that never really hold up are still kids and never had to know what it's like to leave the nest. But netherless, an adult who are still as stupid as a child but an adult. Know what I mean?

I don't think it's quite that simple; more that maturity and wisdom don't have actually have much to do with age.
Also, adults have WAY better toys, as Watterson noted.
