Someone care to explain how choosing not to vote equates to supporting MAGA?

I honestly don't get how someone can interpret not voting as supporting MAGA. I never have and never will support MAGA/Trump.

The GOP is trying to get as many people as they can to stay home and not vote. That's why not voting could be considered supporting Trump, bc its what his base wants u to do.

Even if u don't vote for president, you could still vote for other offices in your state. The more local the office the more power your individual vote has on who holds it! Unfortunately where I live many local offices have no opposition so it's only one candidate. The ones who do tho, and the proposals/ammendments on the ballot, I am voting my choice. I'd encourage you to do the same—even if you leave the president boxes unchecked.

I'm not staying home, I'll be voting down ballot just choosing to leave the Presidential portion blank, but apparently that makes me a MAGA supporter when I never have and never will support MAGA (though I won't be toxic towards them because I know what it's like).

GOP has nothing to do with me choosing to leave presidential portion of my ballot blank. It's partly due to the DNC doing the opposite of trying to earn my vote, and Democratic voters being toxic and hateful. Don't get me wrong there is toxicity hate on both sides (media part of the problem), but it hits different when it's from a party you use to belong to.

I know they don't have to do with your personal decision, that's why I called it a coincidence. You aren't intentionally supporting Trump, just coincidentally supporting him. As someone who used to be a republican I agree the hate feels worse from a party you used to be part of. Unfortunately I can't afford to not vote this election, as my and my family's rights are on the line both nationally and locally this time.

Well MAGA trump republican voters are all going to show up to vote. It's guaranteed but it's less than will potentially turn up for Democrats. So if there's a low voter turn out Trump wins like he did in 2016 when voters did not turn out for Hillary. So basically it's the Democrats election to lose.

So basically trump is guaranteed his 40% of potential voters, the rest of voters may not vote for him which leaves kamala 70% but what happens if people who normally vote for the Democrats don't vote? That might take Democrat votes down to 39% giving trump just enough margin to win, or if kamala gets 45% of the vote and trump 40% trump might win the electoral college again.

It'd like in 2016 when trump won there was mass protests on the streets yet quite a lot of the people didn't vote.

If you ask me it's because Kamala voters are quite unstable and are easily influenced by what they see in media. It's why so many disown their family members over the Trump issue. If they're willing to abandon their blood ties over political nonsense why would they not abandon internet friends?

If you want a less offensive version you could just say that the rhetoric around the election has reached a fever pitch. If someone believes that the orange man is "litrally hitler, pol pot, and mussolini" as advertised then anyone who doesn't take an active stance against him is just like the people who stood by and watched those people rise to power. An enemy.

Both sides constantly claim that third party voting is helping whichever candidate they don't like. It of course does not help anyone. Whichever side loses a close election likes to play the silly "if you just give all Jill Stein's votes to ___________, they would have won. Non-voters don't tend to get that same vitriol unless you tell them you didn't because there's no tangible numbers of non-voters to point to like third parties.

If you are in a blue state, not voting technically is a vote for Kamala, because the democrats technically use non voters to rig elections with fraudulent ballots. If you're in a red state, not voting doesn't sway the election either way.
