I prefer the Washington Scalpers... sports are play war, so the names often fit with battle. Many white settler invaders were killed, scalped... their hair cut off. This is fitting name, no?

But that was offensive to some people. But this is what Washington does nationally and globally... so it makes sense.

I don't have a problem with the new name... but I do not care anymore either.

In my town the sports teams are called the Indians. This was changed a few years ago to the Hawks. They will always be the Indians to me.
