I was touched by all the women who wrote posts about international mens day. That's very sweet of you :)
In the past I was hurt because since I was in high school I heard retoric about how men have it so great and are opressing other people etc. I wasn't diagnosed back then but I knew I was struggling with a lot of things and it didn't feel good to hear these things.
This influenced my reaction in the future when feminism and women's issues were brought up it's like I developed an emotional allergy to these kinds of discussions. I think most of the negativity today is online anyway but it can still affect how we percieve things and how we react in interactions in real life as well.
It is a small minority of women who say hateful things towards men and I don't want this to affect me anymore and get in the way of positivity and love. Next time I'll write a post for Women's Day as well :)
I'm very grateful to the women in my life in the past and the present and I hope we can ignore the negativity and get along better in the future :)
Thank you :) <3
