That article is an excellent example of how the media will twist someone’s words and use it against them to shame them and drown out their message. The person who talked about it is fully aware that most infants don’t understand the concept of consent, but it was about establishing an understanding of “This is your body, and I don’t want to hurt you and I want you to know that.” Did you even read it? A majority of it is just about the response to this one, single line of hers and nothing else. It’s trash news.

What is a good faith discussion of concent for a child? I'm thinking hugs and kiss on the cheeks for parents, auntie, uncle, grandparents.

As a kid myself hated it. did what ever I could to avoid it. It was only being an adult in a funeral setting it turn into something valuable to myself and others. It dosen't have to be both of us hurting to be their for each other but to say I'm always there for you.

Sure a kid can't do much now but it's important to heed the call naturally vs impulsively.
