i think the entire use scenario was absolutely out of touch. like if they'd done their proper research, they would have figured out that the vast majority of people are not gonna run around with these on in public. maybe in the future but we're not quite that orwellian yet. most people use these thigns to watch 3d porn at home. that's pretty much all these things are really good for. and there's far less expensive options.

Way too expensive for VR when you got the HTC and meta quest 3 which is probably the best option for the money and way too heavy for AR
