I have been called all kinds of untrue things that were either insulting and/or incorrect. Truly weird disgusting crap. Hell, people who knew better of me have helped spread some of it, just because this other person was popular. So... if I was called the N word, I'd be like... "nice language."

I've been called Ma'am when I was on camera, and I think I have a pretty masculine deep voice. Even when I have said I was a dude... and still get "yes ma'am." Ummmm... can't figure out that script you're told to read for work, there... but I usually laugh it off.

If she just lit up, and was screaming at me... and wasn't a perceived threat... I'd just think she was a nut. If she followed me as I headed to my car, I'd probably call the cops. I might even probably film - not to put online, but just for proof of what she was doing; maybe show to the cops or security. Actually, I'd probably avoid going to my car unless I could get in fast enough. I don't need some nut knowing what I drive.

I might not say anything, but then I might. "Are you ok? Like... do you need a hug?" But then I might just figure it'd add fuel to the fire and so stay silent.

I think the word is intentionally applied to imply that people who disagree with the left's political agenda have irrational fears.

I am disgusted by homosexuality, and have a natural repulsion just thinking about it, but I certainly don't fear homosexuals. I think that's an important distinction because I think a lot of people feel that way, particularly men because women seem to be much more accepting of it.

Two things come to mind about this fella...

Since we're nuancing definitions the word sanctimonious comes to mind. These lefties, which is now synonymous with Democrats are the kings and queens of virtue signaling. It's central to their mental disorder. It comes from a combination of misplaced feelings of guilt and not misplaced feelings of cowardice.

The other thing that comes to mind is older and wiser. Think of the opposite of that and I think it defines this person.

Homophobia is usually referred to people who chastize, exclude, talk down, or otherwise harm or demean someone who is homosexual. If you don't agree with it, but hold your tongue and treat them normally, I wouldn't call you homophobic. If you say you treat them equally, but then go around and talk bad about people for being gay, you are.

Homophobia is about the hate or intolerance of homosexuals. Fear is included, but it's not necessary.
