I will vote for him again if there is an election - the law doesn't apply to him.

That whole scenario is so damn ridiculous it's laughable. The anti-Trump mob has turned into a full-blown religious cult, and as someone who deeply understands economics and finance, I see politics through the lens of game theory. Let's get real - every single player in these collective institutions is power-hungry, and their motivations are brutally transparent.

He will be demanding another term no matter what the law says since he has absolutely no respect for the law. He did this the last time after losing an election very clearly. What makes you think any of this is going to change?

Trump is now the oldest man ever elected, he's already had 3 people try to kill him already, frankly the odds of him living to the end of his term are not all that great.

Trump however will not seek reelection, he wasn't going to seek it even if he lost this time. As president trump doesn't have the power to put himself on the ballot. Trump himself will not be on the ballot in 2028 either way.

Althou as discussed he could resist stepping down given the worlds largest standing army Congress has foolishly maintained in his direct command. You have certainly given him and every other future president solid reason to do so. Trump's age however is not likely to incline him to care.

Republicans are likely to support trump's selected successor if he does well.

You may be right in that he may not live long enough to make this an issue, but he certainly might. People do live longer these days and Trump's health record. Although largely unknown is probably not all that bad. That said, I understand his fearfulness if this is what it is because he has committed so many crimes and harmed so many people that he probably is in some danger. I hope these secret service is very diligently and thoroughly protecting him. I don't wish harm on him or any other person in this regard.

I have not personally given him any reason to maintain a standing army nor has anyone else I know.

A line was cross with the raid on Mar a lago @msc545 and subsequent personal persecution. It really doesn't matter if you think he committed crimes in office or otherwise. I'm every opposition party think and says that about the one in power.

All that matter is that Trump and all future Presidents and their administration who are likewise threats will think twice about stepping down peacefully after ugly elections. Congress has given them the practical power to resist with the largest standing army at their disposal.

While its true @msc545 You in personalty have done little to give president such vast and dangerous power, you are even now advocating going after former presidents rather than simply leaving them to live in peace.
