This is about one particular polio vaccine (not all of them), which the FDA is alleged to have violated their own review and approval procedures for. The petition is asking for the FDA to withdraw its approval and conduct a scientifically valid trial that adheres to their own guidelines. In this case, it appears that the FDA's safety study only examined a 3 day period following injection. The FDA's own guidelines say that the review period should be much longer, especially for children where the FDA has said the review period needs to be multiple years since developmental disorders can take time to be diagnosed.
It also seems like the product is misleadingly labeled and marketed as a vaccine since it does not (according to the CDC) prevent some forms of infection and transmission, which makes it not a vaccine since it doesn't grant immunity (unless you use very recent claims that the definition is different).
The petition was from 2022, not recently. The lawyer has said on record that this petition was on behalf of a client. It's unrelated to RFK or Trump, both of whom are on the record saying they don't want to reduce access to vaccines.
This petition has nothing to do with autism and doesn't mention it.
The petition itself does nothing. It gives the FDA a chance to respond. If they did a proper study that adheres to guidelines from medical research, their own procedures, and guidance from the NIH and CDC, it should be easy to respond."

The NY Times article was especially dishonest. The headline reads that RFK Jr was going to outlaw Polio vaccine but at the bottom of the article they throw in as an afterthought that neither RFK Jr or President Trump ever said anything about outlawing the Polio vaccine. I guess that 15 million dollar judgement against ABC that President Trump just got had the fake news worried.

What Trump and RFK (and whoever else) NEED to do, is to ban any REQUIREMENTS for any person of any age to have to get any "vaccine"... especially all shots using the latest technology, such as the experimental COVID shots

The problem isn't that vaccines in general don't work, the problem is big pharma puts profits over safety resulting in vaccines not being as safe and effective as they should be. Vaccines being pulled from the market because they turned out to be not as safe as originally thought is no different than medications being pulled from the market. I miss when fellow Democrats were against big pharma and didn't blindly support them.

The lawyer in question posted on X, it wasn't all polio vaccines and was not to ban them, it was one particular polio vaccine that came out in 1990, and was not to straight up ban it, but to haul it's approval till it goes through proper safety testing which it did not. No big deal with it being temporary unapproved when there are 2 other polio vaccines that are older and proven to be safer.

The lawyer in question already made a statement on X debybking MSM smear campaign, there was no lawsuit to ban polio vaccines, but there was a letter sent to the FDA on behalf of a client unrelated to Kennedy and Trump urging them to revoke authorization for a particular polio vaccine that came out in 1990, then the revoke was only temporary till it went through proper safety testing. x.com/.../1867662264255300038

Because big pharma is corrupt and has been putting profits over safety ever since they they were given liability immunity by President Reagan. Not all vax work effectively, for example the polio vaccine that's in question, it was never safety testing based on FDA guidelines, and it doesn't stop transmission of polio and can result in vaccine derived polio. There was no point in coming out with a new polio vaccine when the Salks vaccine was proven safe and effective and stopped the transmission of polio unlike the vaccine released in 1990.

Depends on the vaccine, cost of some vaccines may go up as manufacturers will not be able to cut corners when making them. This cutting corners so vaccines are cheaper to produce is part of the reason some vaccines are as safe as they could be.
