Where are you at in regards to the Luigi killing of the Unitedhealthcare CEO?

I've heard people state opinions/arguments that reflect poll options A-C more or less. But maybe you have a different opinion than these?

Luigi is a modern day hero! Maybe even like Robin Hood! These healthcare CEO’s had it coming! Im surprised it even took this long for this to happen. Also he’s hot!

The Broken American Health Insurance System Has More Blood On Their Hands Than Luigi, though I stand by the phrase “two wrongs, don’t make a right” however I am a firm believer in the Freedom Of Speech that YOU the American have to speak out against the corruption, inhumane treatment, and the lengths that these companies will go through to deny YOU your healthcare even when you’ve paid $1,000s over the span of decades just for that ONE Medical Emergency that is life or death because it is efficient and cost effective for their profit which happens to screw over the people they vowed to insure in the first place.

Speak up, advocate, and don’t let them push you around!

Just because the CEO had a family doesn’t mean you can’t speak it for the greedy corrupt industry that takes advantage of the broken healthcare system in this country. Speak out, advocate, and don’t let them push you around! We are in a divided America so, to come together to fix the system is good!

Perspectives. I'm not related in any way to Brian Thompson, for me, it was a guy living overseas running a company and taking terrible decisions, morally speaking. So, selective empathy being what it is, I'm not emotionally hit by this murder, it's true. If I would be a relative, everything would change for me though.

Philosophically, ethically speaking: Justice without trials, someone bringing capital punishment (which I don't even endorse, trial or not) using all hats at the same time jury, judge, prosecutor and executioner? It is not justice.

Philosophically, ethically speaking, a society where healthcare is a for profit institution? It is not social justice.

I can't say anyone won anything in this scenario, I can't even say if this event will produce anything good, time will tell I guess.

I don't think anybody should be shooting people. I also don't think that Brian Thompson had the right to inact policies that caused mass sufferings and death across the nation because of sheer profit and greed.

So my thing is Luigi killed a serial killer.
Should the justice system have done something instead? Well they didn't. They allowed people to die and suffer.

So somebody else sought justice instead. People shouldn't have to be targets, people also shouldn't have thrir clsims denied for profit either. But here we are. Greed brought us here. The golden calf

Yup bingo. The battle has always been a class one and everything else has always been noise: race, religion, right v left, sexism etc. all smokescreens for the real war: ultra rich vs everyone else.

Unfortunately the far right managed to trick 76 million people into think he was their guy but many are seeing he’s about to make things worse by putting in a bunch of billionaires into his cabinet. I hope more people start waking up, maybe this ceo killing is the beginning of something else.

I'm not American, but from what I've heard about these health CEO's, it doesn't portray these guys in a favorable light to say the least. You pay into a plan for health insurance when you might happen to need it, and then these guys concoct schemes to snake their way out of paying. And then sometimes people die because of it. I'm not surprised there is less than overwhelmingly sympathy for this guy. I remember when Jeffery Dahmer was whacked in prison. Nobody anywhere shed a single tear. More than a few toasts were made in fact. The public reaction on this is similar. Of course it's wrong to shoot people, but it had to happen sooner or later.
