Why can’t some parents like a girl child?

There are people in my country who cry when girls are born, they abandon them, try to kill them, neglect them, mistreat them and keep having more children until a boy is born.

What would you say to them?

Mysoginy. Personal, familial, even Nationally mysoginy can be promoted reinforcing ideas that girls are worth less or shameful or even less human less rights, so abandoning or murdering them is not as bad. (All fucking horrific bullshit ofc, but some people & places think like this).

That’s some of the most detestable rubbish imaginable. I would raise my right hand, and smack em. I’d then raise my left hand, and smack em. Next, blow some powder in their face, cut off one set of fingers, shove them in their mouth, and wrap their head around in plastic wrap so they can’t spit out their fingers. After a couple of minutes of nearly suffocating to death, I’d take off the wrap and give them a pink cupcake with a little candle lit.
