Do you purposely not look at people directly when walking or out in public?

Like if they are walking by you, and you run into to each other, or get close and they let you walk past, do you typically say thank you or my bad without looking at them directly?

Yeah, social anxiety
Yeah, I don't wanna give them a chance to make conversation with me
Yeah, if it's someone fine
Sometimes, depends on the other person's demeanor
No, I make eye contact with everyone
Yeah but not for any of those reasons
