The problem here is not that Democrats are voting for DEI. The problem is that you dont have a clue what you are talking about. Lets take a few examples.

The firehydrants in LA did not run out of water, they ran out of pressure. Its a distribution issue, not a matter of not having the water resources. Also if you begin to try re-pressurize the system then the areas at lower elevation will get pressure back first compared to those at higher elevation. No fishies needed to be "saved". Whoever told you this lied to you.

The funding for firefighters was not cut. It was temporarily moved to another bill because they were upgrading. In other words, they got increased funding. Whoever told you that they had a funding cut lied to you.

The money given to immigrants is not taken away from other sectors. USA can pay for both, and quite frankly a few million dollars is a rounding error for federal and state budgets. There would literally not have been a noticeable difference if you added or subtracted 22 million dollars from the budget. Whoever told you this mattered, lied to you.

The problem here is not Democrats or DEI or immigrants. It is that you are uneducated, lied to and angry about it. You are the problem.

Oh really? You said the fire hydrants did not have enough water and blamed it on fish. I pointed out that there was plenty of water but because there was no longer any pressure in the system it could not be supplied to the fire hydrants.

If you did not know, fire hydrants in that area is pressurized by gravity, not by pumps. Once the water at higher elevation is used up you need to start refilling the tanks to build up pressure again. This was the bottleneck, the speed in which those tanks could be refilled. Water goes out much faster than you can ever hope to pump it back in. In fact, the local water system in Northern California literally had record amounts of water stored just to highlight how WRONG you are.

As for funding. First of all, Biden has been asking for more FEMA funding for literal years and the GOP has always denied it. If you want to bitch about withholding funding, the republicans in the house is the people you want to talk to. And yes, the major did cut the fire fighters budget by 17 million dollars.. which is like 2% of the total budget for the fire fighters and negligible. BUT that is if you ignore all the additional funding that they were given through other programs. If you add those together then instead of reducing the budget by 2% it instead increased by 7%.
