I'm an older Lady and have had many different experiences and lived different "lifestyles" for different reasons. Consequently I had many opportunities to learn about other people's experiences and how/why they had arrived where they were and choices they made. For women/girls considered promiscuous, I found almost all were sexually abused as a small child and/or were raised in a home where sexual modesty was not of importance. And that way too much emphasis had been put on being a submissive overtly sexual female. And looks and being sexual was what made you valued, important, accepted. So little girls grow up confusing their worth and believing if a boy/man wanted them sexually it made them worthy of love and acceptance. Grown consenting adults should be allowed to live their life as they choose as long as laws aren't broken and there is no harm to any other person. So before anyone judges or labels another human being educate yourself about that individual. Have compassion and realize there is a wide variety of reasons a person acts out sexually. And usually it is centered around self esteem, their warped sense of worth, possibly unaddressed trauma just trying to fill a void in their hearts and minds. "Walk a mile in their shoes."
Ms. LM, you're ten years my junior and while I've never been promiscuous (and am nearly certain you aren't and weren't), you're right about s*xual abuse being a contributing factor in many women's (and more men's than most folk imagine) promiscuity.
I generally don't like them male or female.. But I tend to be harsher on woman since we are supposed to be the smarter gender who isn't ruled by lust, but there is nothing I can do about what others decide to do or change how people think. So I just watch them and laugh. At the end of the day people can do what they want and I won't stop them but I will always make fun and talk shit about them since I find it funny. I suppose I think less of them as humans. Like I watched the documentary about that girl fucking a 100 guys in one day at 23 years old on youtube and she cried at the end of it and I felt no sympathy for her at all. I feel she deserves everything that comes to her and the men who fuck her.. disgusting!

I felt pity for her but she gave the impression throughout it WAS what she wanted. What got me though was that she seemed to have zero concept of the consequences 10 years ahead BUT she'll be lonely in a mansion instead of an apartment.
I am of a similar opinion and really have no clue how guys screwing everything around can be like that to women. Women who do it though I can grasp that it's like being in a bakery with cakes and all at your finger tips.

@PeachyPie93 Again it is pity for her as such a pleasant looking and charming girl from the documentary, she's likely got some significant self esteem issues (or doesn't place value on her body). The attention given to girls and women doing this is out of control. Other young girls will see this and fantasise about the attention, glamour and wealth they can see being thrown at these performers and it's a sad sight for humanity that ought to be dealt with. Platforms shut down, access to them ended.
Guys engaging with this are just ones who want to screw a pretty girl because it's so difficult these days to get that opportunity. Sure she's doing it for money (not theirs) but they get to say they screwed. It's sad for them but less damaging as no one will bat an eyelid or hold them accountable because they just took advantage of an opportunity.

I feel bad for them. Because there is something broken in them and most don't even realize it. Most will jump from person to person never experiencing real love and affection. And what's worse they'll never understand why.
Am I OK with them? Everyone has the right to live how they like so long as it isn't hurting anyone. But most people that engage in this behavior ARE toxic people and they leave a lot of destruction in their wake.
On the surface it may appear there is a double standards in promiscuity. But it only appears that way because of gender roles. There is no actual dbl. standard.
My religion may make a moral judgement on this but I am of the school that Jesus's message is that of love. I think these people do irreparable damage to themselves and others emotionally and psychologically not just spiritually when they engage in promiscuous behavior. And God does not want that for them.

The only thing I disagree with here is the "no double standards." Men are often told to sew their wild oats in their youth and sleep with as many as they'd like as this is just a part of their sexual learning, yet women are NEVER told this. Culturally on my dad's side (born outside the US), this is literally the norm. He, thankfully, finds this behavior disgusting. Do I think a lot of men find their male friends who do this behavior to be in the wrong, yes. Again, I agree with you in all other aspects, that anyone just hopping bed to bed tends to be hurting themselves or others, but end of the day, we all make choices, and we must live with them and the consequences that may bring.

Personally I love promiscuous girls! They're fun, they're psychologically stable, they're good in bed, and overall make the best partners.
There's definitely a double standard; men become studs, girls become "sluts." There can be some negative judgment against men as well if they have a really large amount of partners, but not nearly as much as against women.
It was interesting to see the reasons those who judged promiscuous people gave. They think they are immoral, something wrong with them, psychological issues, bad upbringing, destroying society, and so on and so forth.
I wonder if any of the anti-promiscuous members here considered that perhaps promiscuous people just have a healthy sexuality, and enjoy having sex with a lot of partners, and that this doesn't necessarily have to be a sign of psychological issues or some other defect? :D

I have a low opinion of promiscuous people, male or female. And no, it's not a religious or moral opinion. It's purely pragmatic. It harms society, which harms all of us. The cost of children raised in single parent homes, the vast majority if which are fatherless, is incalculable.
Telling people it's okay as long as you're not involved, or people should be free to be free, is bullshit. It's like saying it doesn't affect anyone else if people choose to smoke, or eat like shit and not take care of their bodies... we ALL pay for it in the end through higher insurance costs.
With promiscuity, we all pay for it through higher rates of crime, gangs, drug abuse, mental illness, underage pregnancies (and all the issues that come with it)... the list goes on and on.
Case in point; statistics of bio-fatherless kids. A step dad usually by far won’t cut it, the stats prove this.

I went through phase of this out of insecurity in my late 20s and early 30s (I was in my physical looks prime).
Truth is I mostly regret it (although I did remember a few mind blowing moments). I am not proud of it. It’s possible I could have committed to someone and have a wife and kids right now.
But I had so many disappointments and heartbreaks when I was younger when I did what women “say” they want (I was a “nice guy”). I eventually gave up. That led to me being taken advantage of so the promiscuity was also also due to past anger. Not an excuse. But just saying.
Same here, but I still look lates 20a early 30s. I am often tempted to sleep with my GF’s friends or other women, they don’t make it easy. They come on to us stronger when we are older.
There are a lot women who are hot who like to break up relationships for excitement, they like to cuck their bfs. Its crazy out there. When a guy is younger he usually doesn’t get a lot of attention, sometimes but he might be too shy, stupid, or drunk. I was too committed to the wrong woman for most of my 20s (and too broke).

In all honesty if you've had more than 5 partners in bed, I think it's gross and wouldn't date them for any reason. I'm personally extremely sex positive. I think that acts of sex are moral goods. Simply by doing sex you are doing a good thing and making the world a better place. So I fully endorse promiscuity. I do strongly advise being selective enough of your partner to avoid disease. But otherwise fuck everyone you want and fuck everyone you can.
That said obviously not everyone feels the same way. And that's fine too. For them. If they want to only ever have sex with one person, or no people, for the rest of their lives good for them. I wish them happiness. It only becomes a problem when they insist other people have the same preferences they do. And vice versa. I have my view, and if other people agree then cool. But I would not want a tone to ever feel like they are "less" because they don't want I finite sex partners

The real problem with promiscuous people is that they usually insist on being in relationships. If they would just stay single, it wouldn’t really be a big deal. But they always want to drag other people into it.
It erodes society, spreads disease, brings about abortions, fatherless kids, causes there to be less marriage and less families. It is a form of degenracy.

I think it's unhealthy behavior.. People , more times than not, raised in healthy family households don't go on to exhibit that type of behavior.. At least not for very long, as we do live in a culture that does a fairly good job of encouraging it.

I think a lot of them are very good looking and get a lot of attention and then struggle to resist temptation. Maybe they are addicted to the chase.
Either that or they have commitment issues and are a bit lost and then seek pleasure with other people.
I am all for letting other people do whatever they want. No one has a right to interfere with whatever kind of sexual activity consenting adults want to engage in. It's their business and no one else's.
For myself, I am completely uninterested in a relationship with a promiscuous woman whether that relationship is purely sexual or otherwise. It's just a major turnoff to me.
