Biden will receive a $166,000 Congressional pension and an Executive Branch pension of $246,000 per year. That is $413,000 a year for his services - that have been pretty much worthless. If any of you are on Social Security, what do you get and what what raise did you get this year for inflation? Not much I wager. I think Biden should pay back the taxpayers for his shit services instead of receiving. I'm surprised they didn't give him another mansion.

Alright this is kinda stupid. The presidential pension is not given as a thanks for the service that presidents has done for the country. It is given to save face for the country and for national security reasons. Having a former president fall into destitute and poverty is a national embarrassment and taints the country's reputation. Furthermore if a former president is vulnerable to be manipulated or bribed then that allows foreign countries to undermine the country from within.

Putting aside the fact that he has probably been one of the best presidents for the economy in my lifetime (which is not saying too much to be fair), this just goes to show that you have no idea what you are talking about.

He allowed the country to be invaded by millions of non-citizens. It's not really a question of being worth it. A pension is something you get when you're no longer working, so no person is worth their pension since they contribute nothing.

But they've earned their pension, and so they deserve it. If Biden fulfilled the requirements for them, then he has a right to them, and should receive them.
