Why do people worship politicians?

When their kings or presidents or politicians are the roots of all the evil in the world. They are rich. And we are poor and struggle. We can barely get housing or healthcare or food. And people still worship politicians. Why do idiotic humanity let this happen?

The system is corrupted almost everywhere, since the governments meant to work to thrive their nations and to provide better living conditions who r rare thesedays, it's going the other way to serve their personal benefits

I do not think that politicians are any better than the rest of us. I shook hands with Ted Kennedy. His sweaty handshake was a little startling but he was just another guy.
