I feel like there just isn't enough substantial evidence of improvement or actual plans that would benefit working class people like me.
I'm working class and sure I may not make a lot of money but I can't afford to lose Affordable healthcare, I can't afford to pay even more for goods because of tarrifs. I don't see anything good coming from not receiving compensation for all the over time hours me and people like me work. I dont see why lowering income tax for wealthier people would help people like me who aren't on the wealthier tax bracket, I'm not seeing how trump signing bills like "declassifying files on JFK, RFK and MLK Jr assassinations", "deploying military to the border", "ending funding for DEI programs", "limiting definitions of gender identity", "renaming the gulf of Mexico to gulf of America", or him pardoning January 6th defendants, or their massive book of honestly racist divisive plans in the Project 2025 his supporters made that he said he knew nothing about. Or how filling cabinet picks with unqualified people actually helps people like me living in america.
All it feels like is trump gets to do whatever he wants regardless of what people tell him they need or how worse off his actions and wants make the people who honestly supported him, he surrounds himself with billionaires that don't care at all about what happends to people in need, and maga supporters get down on their knees to either suck his dick, or kiss all 10 of his toes.
This is why I just can't support Maga and trump, I had a feeling things weren't right with him morally early on because of how he talked about American veterans, and him getting upset about losing the 2020 election, deliberately not being fully honest to his supporters that he lied when he said the election was stolen from him. If you like people who deliberately lie to their supporters, and find any excuse to justify breaking the law and being unloyal to the constitution. Then Trump is certainly your president.

I used to be a Republican but I won't until he is gone and the party goes back to what it was before. The party is not supposed to revolve around hatred (very un-Christian) of immigrants. This is why Truml invites Hitler comparisons. It's not about white Christian Nationalism. Trump himself is despicable. He pretends to be a Christian but cheats on every wife he has. He cries about a pastor asking him for mercy. He thinks everything is about him. He doesn't care about helping America unless it helps him. He is obsessed only with himself. He has taken lying to an entirely new level than your standard politician and demands absolute loyalty as if he were a dictator. It's all against what the Republican party is supposed to be about.

I didn't vote in your poll because none of the options apply to me.

I'm not a registered Republican, but I voted for Trump in November. Today's Democrat party is nothing like the one I used to support (and who used to support me). The last four years have been pure insanity. While I'm not a fan of Trump in many ways, he is what the US needed to right the ship and get it heading in a better direction. I don't support everything he says, does or stands for, but he was the best option in November, BY FAR.

Regarding southern California, they will get their disaster relief. But Trump is wise to take the opportunity to force California to change it's insane voter ID law.

Most people recognize that the only reasons democrats don't support it is because it makes it easier to cheat, and for ineligible people to vote.

I just see it as useless thing to argue about because every state, including California, requires voters to be a legal citizen, over 18, not a convicted felon, with ID to even run the background check to be identified as not being a convicted felon all to be registered to vote anyway.. long before Trump had any say about it. So there's really no evidence that California's voting system is corrupt in the way trump thinks it is. Just because it's a blue state.

Here's what California's Gov. Gavin Newsom's office said as proof of truth about it. "Under current CA law you must be a CA resident and US citizen (and attest to being one under penalty of perjury) AND provide a form of ID such as driver’s license or passport that has been approved by the Secretary of State in order to register to vote.”

Trump proposes no taxes on overtime hours not doing away with overtime pay. This is a tax cut for the middle class. Tariffs will be absorbed by the foreign country if they want to stay competitive. Sending troops to the border will improve life for all citizens. Mass deportations will save the government billions of dollars and save numerous American lives.
