Actually prior to Israel being formally created as a new nation in 1948 there were already a significant number of Jews in the area. They'd been there over 3500 years continuously in varying numbers.

The area was a British Protectorate prior to 1948 as well, and since the previous administrators locally had been allied to Hitler in the war with the bulk of the land the displaced European Jewish people liberated from the death camps was uninhabited there shouldn't have been any problems.

Egypt, Syria and Jordan attacking in June 1967 with superior numbers and equipment in an attempt to eradicate Israel but getting their butts handed to them solidified the point that it's actually the Arabic Muslims who have attempted to exterminate the Jewish people in their pursuit of ethnic cleansing rather than the other way round.

First of all Jews lived in Palestine long before Islam was even a religion. They have a lot more claim to that land than the "Palestinians" do. Jews were there since biblical times. I put Palestinians in quotes because they were Jewish Palestinians also. No one ever mentions this. As I said the Jews lived in the area called Palestine (which was never a country by the way just an area of barren desert until Israel was formed and the people of Israel turned it into a beautiful resort Oasis in the desert after which the Arabs suddenly wanted it back). Before Israel made it a beautiful place it was part of Egypt and nobody wanted it. It was a wasteland.

Jews didn't kick anybody out. They welcomed everyone Muslim or Christian to stay and help build their country together.

Many of them did stay and some of them are still living there today. They are full citizens of Israel with all the rights that every other Israeli Jewish or not has. They live a far better life in Israel and the ones who left are living in Gaza.

Why did they leave? Because the other Arab countries told them to leave. They said to flee the land they would attack Israel and kill all the Jews. After they did that then they could come back and the Jews would be gone.

So they left. Israel was attacked by all of the neighboring Muslim countries. They thought it would be easy to finish Israel off because the Israelis were outnumbered 10 to 1.

But they were defeated. And defeated again. And again and again. ...
