Honestly, it's a lose-lose situation. With DEI, Whites and Asians were saying they were being discriminated against. Now with NO DEI, brown people will be saying they didn't get hired because of their race. They would have to prove it, and there's really no way of knowing what an employers true intentions are. But this a very easy fix. In France for instance, they have to give you a good reason for not hiring you. So if employers were forced to do that here, then what you're talking about wouldn't be an issue.

And if we wanna stop worrying about it all together, just do what France does and don't ask for race or religion on the census.

Means DEI won't cause plan crashes or incapable unqualified people from getting jobs because they are the preferred race, gender, sexuality, non Christian, non able bodied person or intellectually incapable person. DEI just caused a helicopter to crash into an aircraft in Washington.

I think what he's saying is he's assuming that employers will now discrinate against POC. Unless you do what France did and impose a regulation that says an employer must provide a good reason for not hiring you, there's really no way to know what an employer's intentions are. No doubt that some people will once again try to exploit this and claim they didn't get hired because of their race, but they would have to prove it.
This stuff was already happening though even before DEI. Employers felt intimidated into hiring minorities for fear of being labeled "racists"
