Later, he convinced enough people within the nation that his ultra-right-wing form of government was the only hope. He became the head of government and utilized his position to create a totalitarian form of power.

At what point was it ethical to remove him by force and fight?

What is interesting is that I never implied any of this question referred to the current issue of Donald Trump, yet so many responders immediately assumed it. The description within this question is, without question, historical facts of Adolf Hitler and his climb to power.

If one can see the exact same steps both have taken in their need for power, why won't the same learn from the horrid past? Has history surely not taught you anything?

The name Socialist Party came about because of a clash Hitler had with the German Communist Party. Hitler was definitely NOT socialist. He was anything but.

Who knows in 45's47's case, but Hitler likely should have been executed as a traitor after his arrest for his farcical Beer Hall Putsch in 1925, in which German trailer trash laughably tried to "overthrow" the elected, though ineffectual Weimar Government.

I think I agree with you. Looking back, he tried to violently overthrow the government. He had a lot of people that he conned into following his rhetoric. Even those involved in government. Then, once he was appointed chancellor, he brought in more of his cronies. I'm sure there's been people that, throughout their life, have refused to believe he did anything wrong.

I think I'm correct in that in November of 1923, Hitler tried to overthrow the goverment. This became known as the Beer Hall Putsch. Their government was scared to go after him very strongly because of all his support. They actually did jail him for a time but provided him very good conditions, actually providing him with an assistant to allow him to write "My Kamph." Remember, at the time, we didn't have the internet and anything like Facebook or Truth Social.

Emotional Intelligence Magazine published an entire study on this about two years ago.

In essence, the study concluded, "Name-calling is a form of bullying that can occur in online spaces, including political discourse. It can be a sign of low emotional intelligence and can make it difficult to have constructive conversations."

This doesn't mean one may not have a valid argument, only that they lack the skills to articulate their thoughts on an educated fashion.

The nation did not want to bring him down. The overwhelming majority of Germans supported his regime. A small fraction opposed him, but there was certainly not any human capital to support a bloody uprising.

Hitler was a historical revisionist (something invented by socialist/communist regimes), power was concentrated to him and a small elite, society was collectivist over individualist and the economy was mixed, yes there was a free market but also central planning. The Allies opposing him like Britain and the US were Conservatives.

Pretty much says it all. Honestly, as a historian with an area studying 20th Century Europe, the rise of Hitler and the rise of Trump is very similar. It's odd, because most people can see what warning signs there with Hitler were. Yet, we are seeing the same things with Trump, different enemies and hatreds, but same things. Those that notice this are ringing the warning bells, but his supporters seem to either not care or believe that it won't be the same.
