I think of Egypt as the land of worshipping money, power, image and status, the desert as isolation and blindness, the wilderness as vicious conflicts and arguments from persecutors, the land of Israel, as the beautiful social fantasy, and Rehoboam as the new separation, boundaries and judgment that separate that fantasy from the corruptions of human temptation, the mixing of Jewish genes with other nations as a symbolize for advanced stage faith, when God is elucidated through philosophical ideas and no longer exclusive to temples or rituals. Assyria mixing with Jewish blood represents mutual mercy for non Jews and Jews and Babylon mixing with Jewish blood represent mutual labours for mutual goals among both Jews and non Jews that divide self interest from other sided interests.
