At my Maternal Grand mothers we had a huge box of Lego (well over 6000 pieces) that all the kids used to create what ever they could imagine, this was in the days before the themed sets of today. When the ‘Mini Figures’ they were a rough human shape with no male or female features, It in 1978, the first LEGO set to include a minifigure was released. Number 600, a police-man in his patrol car, was released and the role of the LEGO minifigure was born.
It would be two months later that LEGO’s first female minifigure would show up in the form of a nurse. As occupations go, LEGO followed a strict rule: no soldiers, or anything associated with war. What this sounds like is someone inventing a problem and then crying out about the injustice. All of a sudden, you've got a bug up your ass about some COMPLETELY MADE-UP BULLSHIT about a toy that's been around for about 60 years!! What about toy trains that have tunnels to run through? How about Spirograph where you have to put a long, pointy cylindrical thing into one of many holes to get it to work? Easy Bake Oven where you have to slide something into a slit and wait a while for the finished product to come out of the slit? Y'know, like when a woman gets pregnant and you have to wait a while for the finished product to come out of her oven through a slit? it's a toy, you or someone is reading way too much into it. They were that color long before the rainbow thing was around, so one could say legos were copied by that movement.
