It's not as simple as a binary choice of Men or Women.

Historically almost every human society has been a patriarchal society where men had 99% of the power and owned all the property, including the women. This has only changed in Western countries in the last 100 years or so.

In those societies, men could basically do anything with a wife or daughter. And they did. Sell them into marriage. Beat them. Rape them. Abuse them psychologically. Anything short of murder was "a man's right". People just turned their heads. Women had no choice. They were basically sexual and economic slaves. Half the human population was treated as less than human. By law.

Then in the US at least, in the last 100 years, we evolved as a species a tiny bit. Women were finally given the right to vote in 1920 under the 19th amendment to our Constitution. Eventually women won property rights. They could have a bank account, credit cards, own a home or a car, work outside the home. Get a divorce from an abusive spouse, etc. And yes, there were diversity initiatives to make sure women were paid on the same scales as men and given a fair chance in hiring or promotion opportunities. The initiatives didn't work perfectly but were a step forward from nothing. If you think any of that was "catering to women" go eff yourself.

However for a certain group of men who really enjoyed owning all the power and assets and women, every step forward for society has been a personal assault on their privilege they have enjoyed for 3,000 years. The butthurt whining has been deafening when men were finally made to compete in the workplace, in the dating space, etc. When women finally had some free choice, life got tougher for the bottom 30% of loser guys. And this is with a partially leveled but still imperfect playing field.

So has society "catered to" women and minorities in the last 100 years? Yeah. Because those people had NOTHING up to that point. The idea was to level the playing field for everyone to the degree possible in a reasonable amount of time. And of course the White Men losing their privilege when other people were given a seat at the table absolutely hated having to actually compete for the luxuries they'd been raised to expect as their birthright. Tough shit. Suck it up and compete buddy.

Yes some people have been catered to at the expense of others. Because for 3,000 years some people had almost nothing while others had it all. How would you like to be in their shoes? Yeah, that's what I thought. So why do you whine so loudly when they get the same as you? What does that say about you?

The west has become so overly pro-women and anti-men that a large number of women have become disconnected from the reality of life.
They have stooped functioning as women and made themselfs into dysfunctional men with breasts. Their rates of mental-illness have gone thou the roof because there brains and bodies simply were not designed for the life style they are forced into without men in what was until now men's shoes.

Probably men considering everything is built with a man in mind and not a woman. I know just for driving a car like it is built for a man's safety. As a tiny woman I'm completely fucked if I get into a accident I'll be through the windshield or I'll die from the airbag hitting me lol

I can't even lie i have breakdowns often about how badly the world is set up for moms and babies. Maybe some women who aren't moms have it easier I don't know but our world is mostly built for men to thrive

Women come out worse after a divorce than a man. Same with marriage it was created to benefit only men and make women into slaves

Not really. That's why so many women divorce. There is no benefit to being married as a woman. For men there's many benefits so even if they no longer like their wife's they'll stay and cheat because he's just using the wife to slave for him
