Do you consider Donald J. Trump to be a Dictator or the President of the United States?

I consider almost every political figure a dictator or democratically elected dictator. My bar to be a dictator is very low because my standards for a democracy as a genuine democrat are way higher.

So, why is Trump and almost every other politician dictators in my book? Simple, they dictate. Trump did an executive order did he not? That's a dictate. Congress making legislation that forces something on the people? That's a dictate.

So the people we elect dictate policies back to us. What makes Trump more honest and a genuine democratically elected dictator is that he is actually doing what he said he would do. This makes him much more democratic than most, but its still achieved trough dictating.

A governmental form I don't consider dictating is when there is a system of referenda where the citizens can propose and counter legislation trough referenda. If the citizens have actual say over the bills and proposals they would no longer be dictates. But a system where all you can do is elect a guy and hope he dictates as he promised I don't consider very democratic, even if the guy in the office is keeping his promises for once.

So I consider Trump a dictator by the system he uses to dictate legislation, not because he lacks a democratic mandate to do these changes he is doing. That said, things like renaming the gulf of mexico nobody voted for, thats an example of a dictate in the undemocratic sense as harmless as that is.

Hard to say. I don't think he's smart enough to be either one. He criticizes trade agreements that he himself signed. He thinks stealth fighter planes are invisible. He's an idiot. Hitler and Stalin were never this stupid. And he's not running this show anyway, that racist South African drug addict is, and everyone knows that.

Based on what? He and Musk have stood up for free speech. The dems wanted censorship and to silence and cancel anyone and everyone who doesn't accept their talking points. Trump is right now standing for transparency with the budget and spending. Dems are wanting that halted and for the unelected bureaucracy to make all of these decisions against what the will of the people is. The dems demanded everyone take this vaccine or else lose your job and for companies to shut down and go out of business.

He was elected into office, though he hasn’t done full steps to be a dictator. He has dictator-like qualities though I wouldn’t call him a dictator.

He didn't try to become a dictator during his first term and is not doing so now.
Democrats hurl so many absurd accusations that they have lost all credibility, especially in light of their own hypocrisy in accusing others of things that they, themselves, are guilty of.

Has Trump disbanded congress or the courts? That is what a dictator would do.
He has shown more respect for the Constitution than have Democrats.

There is no president with whom I have agreed 100%. Not even close. I have opposed many of their policies. I don't agree with all of Trump's policies. But that's not enough to accuse someone of being a dictator.

A criminal clown put in charge of something he is at risk of breaking. He and his cronies are so obviously (from a ROTW perspective) crooked af and the US 2nd Amendment seems to be forgotten by actual Americans with guns here.

I think he wishes to be king, he's disassembling the different agencies but not with proper planning or looking at the long range effects, he's trying to change the constitution in several ways, one of which is to get him a third term. He doing some of the things he wishes to do illegally regardless of what the law is. He even admitted to wanting to be a dictator for a day and the republican party's plan for 2025 is not at all for a democratic government but seems to want to copy Putin and his oligarchs (rich friends and associates in control of the government). Actions speak loader than words was never truer.

He is simply using delegated constitutional and congressional authority, and it makes sense to Deputize the most successful banker in the history of the world to help balance the budget and downsize the government.
