In case it wasn't clear, the point of the question is to make Americans consider what it would be like to be Ukrainian. It seems to have gone over a lot of people's heads.

Geopolitically America is much better off with a strong independent Russia. A independent Russia is critical to the security of the western pacific ocean, while being irrelevant to NATO.

If you @freyared or @goaded bothered to use your head you would have sided with Russia not the Ukraine. The people who chose to fight Russia over the Ukraine have put the world in a very difficult geopolitical situation for maybe the next 10 to 40+ years.

As for North America, the Mexican goverment is too incompetent to pose a real threat to either Texas or California with or without the union.
Mexican drug cartels are a different story and that is why the U. S. army is being deployed to defend our border. Proving Trump does think these states should be defended.

I've worked with and have known Mexicans most of my 28 years and there isn't one of them, that I know of, that aren't eager to learn English. Most will even go to local colleges and tech schools that offer free English classes. Most are trying (on their own time), so it's unfair for people to claim that Mexicans or any other immigrant come here and just expect the Americans to confirm to their language. A lot of them won't try to speak when under pressure, because they're embarrassed and ashamed of the way they speak and don't wanna look stupid.
