Woke is a recent slang term that used to originally be associated with positive connotations just as red pill was. It used to be associated with people that are awake in this society of sheep. People that were waking up from slaving around each day working, paying taxes, and just following the system blindly.

Nowadays, just as with every other positive term, the leftists claimed the word for themselves and the meaning of the slang term changed to mean stuff along the line of pro LGBT, pro cancel culture, pro feminism, pro body positivity, etc. That's why the Dylan Mulvaney and Victorias Secret campaigns failed so hard. The phrase "Go woke, go broke." was born out of stupidity like that.

I think of gammons screaming WOKE when people tell them they can't use the N word. I admit I roll my eyes whenever I see yet another mix race family with a disabled daughter and son in a skirt in adverts but it's getting to the point the anti WOKE lobby is even more annoying. Still if it wasn't for Woke half the people around here would think black folk were an urban legend.

I can't find WOKE Wales, Google maps keeps directing me to Chinese takeaways. Only place I can think of containing a K in the name is Kinmel Bay, so I think that's a red herring.

What does this mean? Anyone who views anything they perceive as ‘W O K E’ in a negative connotation will immediately get mad & triggered that something or someone that doesn’t agree with their philosophy / idea exists freely and wishes for it to evaporate.
