We should stop accepting any money to be spend on any war whatsoever!
Citizens in the USA for example are major contributors for global wars and the deathand destructions that come with it because of their patriotic mindset. Patriotism is a genuine problem in some countries!
In the Netherlands they recently tried to convince the citizens to enlist in the army again. They even want to re-introduce mandatory service in the army again, but a study quickly revealed that only 18% of the citizens is actually willing to contribute in the army to fight for the country.
We simply don't want to contribute in any war especially not for the purpose of money and power. This mindset should become the standard globally to be able to end wars all together
It's not his war. Russia invaed Ukraine and they are fighting for their lives.
I don't know:) I agree try to end it but it really looks like, this is round one of a long fight.
So I can i put you down for $10,000 per year for the next 10 years.
@PaleDale how will Putin take over a country like Poland or France or Britain? Or Finland or Sweden? Russia is outnumbered 40 to 1.
@PaleDale Italy for instance has a larger economy and a more powerful military
When did Russia invade france or others? Napolen attacked Russia, as did Germany. Russia can hardly move a line against Ukraine.
@PaleDale it does look it up. The Italian airforce would make mince meat of the Russian airforce. Italian armour is pretty formidable.
Joe Biden gave them $300 billion. Trump is asking for minerals to pay us back. The world is shitting their pants when America wants to be paid back.
America should be more like the uk. The UK loaned them money. Biden should have made it a loan.
Lol we were told that Iraq would pay us back after the war. Taxpayers in the us and uk never saw a dime of it. The government takes money from taxpayers, it doesn't give it back.
The UK prime minister as soon as he was elected declared a 26 billion pound hole in the UK finances, the UK gave billions to Ukraine and now he wants to give more. The UK won't see a cent back of money given to Ukraine and taxes will rise to pay for it.
Think on this. The Taxpayer in the US is still paying off the 20 year war in Afghanistan, the 20 year war in Iraq, the war in Syria, intervention in Libya, the war in Yemen, the economic crash, the bank bailout, covid and now the war in Ukraine and Gaza. For too long the US government has been writing blank checks. $50 million dollars worth of condoms for Gaza? They needed food, blankets etc but someone in government probably bribed by durex or trojan decided instead of food that condoms was more important.
Well, now Trump has Zelenskyy over a barrel. No honey, no money. 😂😂
Joe Biden "gave [Ukraine] $300 billion."
Where did you get that figure?
Not from a reputable source apparently.
Here's the reality: $182.8 billion.
https://www.ukraineoversight.gov/Funding/
This might be where you got your $300 billion figure:
"Since February 2022, the international community has immobilized Russian assets valued at approximately $300 billion. While most of these assets are held in European financial institutions, some are held in U. S., Canadian, and Japanese financial institutions as well."
That's not us spending $300 billion. That's preventing the Russians from using $300 billion.
I wouldn't give them a fucking dime.
That's sad cause we give everybody money and even though we help everybody most countries hate us
@Twalli the UK government says they got a £26 billion hold in their finances and cutbacks will have to be made and taxes raised, look how much they give Ukraine
They are part of this world and did NOT start the war.

it's funny when you realize the same people that bitch about America "getting too involved" and needing to mind their own business and leave the rest of the world alone, are the SAME ONES saying we should keep giving zelenskyyyy billions of dollars to pay for his mansion... oops, I mean to fund the war. 🤣
Yes his general's training trips to Las Vegas casinos
@PaleDale the Iraqis said the same thing. What would America do If Mexico decided to let Russia or China build military bases on its boarder with America?
@PaleDale exactly and what reason would they have to stop them?
The world should support a country defending itself from invasion. It's hard to put an individual price on that, since it depends on what others contribute. Simply put, whatever it takes is the best answer.
@molonski2 so I will put you both down for $10,000 for the next 10 years
@molonski2 it is simplistic. They were minding their own business and Putin just attacked them.
@PaleDale they weren't minding their own buisness, they were planning to allow a powerful foreign military alliance to build military bases on its boarder thus boxing them in.
@PaleDale tell that to Sadam.
Don't know, but Zelenskyy's war is Europe's, and perhaps eventually the world's, war.
So I can put you down for $10,000 per year?
Sure, if I win Friday's $40,000,000 (Canadian) Ontario (my home province) Lottery !!!(And how much will YOU donate, AskerBird?)
Not a bean if I can help it. Zelensky has lost his war
@PaleDale don't be retarded. The Russian military hasn't the power to take over its neighbour. If Poland choose it could sweep south and kick the Russians out by itself
@PaleDale no it really doesn't. It's not the threat we've been told.
It's not Zelensky's war. It's Putin's war.
Grow the fuck up and get with the program instead of giving President NAZI mental blowjobs.
Then reach into your pocket...
I do reach into my pocket. Every fucking day just like you... as I am paying near a trillion dollars a year for our own military.
Here's some advice for the intellectually deficient aka the MAGA Ilk...
What do you think happens with the "aid" sent to Ukraine or anywhere else?
The aid that they get is actually money injected primarily into the US economy. That is, in a sense, it's stimulus.
If you lived long enough - and you have not - you'd know this because this is exactly how Reagan became popular: By building up the US military (which did actually need to be done), he deficit-spent, but that heated up the US economy which got it over the recession during the early part of his administration because Paul Volcker slaughtered inflation which no one else had the balls to do.
Anyway, when we "send aid", what we are really doing is either:
1) sending supplies which the Federal Government then purchases from US companies to replenish like weapons systems or
2) enabling the foreign government to buy US products and services.
In short, sending aid injects money into the US economy. Does the taxpayer pay for it? Yes, but it also keeps the taxpayer working.
Meanwhile, to help the intellectually deficient, let's put aid in perspective...
From Pew Research:
www.pewresearch.org/.../
"The $71.9 billion in foreign aid that the government spent in fiscal 2023 works out to 1.2% of that year’s total federal outlays, which were more than $6.1 trillion."
To put this in terms you can understand, for every $100 that I "reach into my pocket", I'm giving $1.20 in foreign aid.
If you wanna whine about "reaching into your pocket", start bitching about other things. Like tax breaks for the wealthy or yet another weapons system. For instance, the MQ-25 which I am working on is, so far, going to cost taxpayers over $16 billion... and it isn't even a weapon... it's a tanker drone for refueling aircraft in the sky. That one nonessential program is over 1/5th of the total aid given in 2023. I'm thankful though - it's kept me employed for 2 years so far. Thank you taxpayers!

Stop echoing idiocy and learn to think.
If you don't, Nature is going kill you much earlier than it otherwise should.
Yes all added on to your tax bill
The financial cost pales in comparison to the human costs to Ukraine's people. But Putin has no incentive to give up now.
Personally, none. That’s the government’s job. It’s called defending freedom. When you do t stand up for allies against enemies, it catches up to you. I will support fundraisers and donate though.
The government adds it on to your tax. May cost you upwards of $40,000 per year.
Sadly, I don’t make over $5.3 million a year…
Since TRUMP and Putin has come to power. The 21 centre Axes of evil only waiting for North Korea to attack South Korea.
Ukraine must plug the hole of evik
How much are you willing to pay for Trump's economic war, stupid?
We've already been in an economic war, we just didn't know it.
Biden was slowing but surely repairing the economy, Trump is destroying it. That's what is happening.
Yet every year the economy got worse.
Now it’s Zelensky’s war? Lmao you guys really are crazy
He was invaded because he was wearing the wrong clothes. JD Vance and Marjorie's boyfriend admonished him for that in the White House.
@DryGermanGuy he was invaded because he was planning to allow foreign military bases on Russia's boarder. Biden and the other European politicians that encouraged Zelensky to do so really f*cked Ukraine
That's the same category of lie that Dr. Fauci would operate secret biolabs in the Ukraine. Both never happened. By the way, there are currently foreign NATO troops in the Baltics, close to the Russian border. Soon they will be in the new NATO member Finland. Will Putin invade these countries next?
@DryGermanGuy putin hasn't the power to invade Finland, they are too strong. There are nato bases jn the baltics despite assurances that nato wouldn't expand east. You mention Finland but sweden too in the cold war didn't try to join NATO because the Soviets might have invaded and NATO membership wasn't worth the death of a single swede/Finn, this is why Zelensky is such a bad leader.
There were never formal treaties over NATO not expanding, not even assurances. There was loose talk between various Eastern and Western politicians, that's it. And apparently Zelensky's job approval just rose with the latest MAGA attacks from 64% to 74%. And that's the only thing that counts to determine what sort of leader he is.
@DryGermanGuy the west broke their word to Russia regardless.
Who said Zelensky's approval has risen? The same propagandists that told us that if we gave Ukraine f16s and Abrahams tanks that they'd push Russia out of Ukraine within a month or two?
I never heard anyone suggesting that F-16s and Abrams tanks would enable Ukraine to push out Russia within a month, then again, I don't waste my time with propagandists. It was Ukrainian media reporting about it, even those who are critical of Zelensky. Who knew, people could actually rally behind their elected president when he gets attacked on the international stage.
@DryGermanGuy www.aei.org/.../
www.google.com/.../amp
Why do you call it Zelensky's war? Who attacked who?
Zelensky choose to pursue joining Nato knowing what Russia's response would be. Was the chance of joining NATO be worth the death of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and the destruction of Ukrainian cities?
They knew exactly what Russia's response would be as Russia demonstrated its response in Georgia when NATO announced that Ukraine and Georgia would be future NATO membership, Russia invaded Georgia in 2008 to successfully stop that and later Ukraine in 2014. You are talking shit as litteraly the previous attempts by Ukraine and Georgia to join NATO resulted in a Russian invasion.
Like the war against the taliban?
Can I get a refund for the last 3 years?
It doesn't work that way...
Yes it does
Let him eat cake
It's Putin's war.
Then who pays?
What about American aggression. They've dropped more bombs in the last 20 years than all the world's wars combined?
