For me it's the damage to the environment I have a problem with. If I owned a 3 or 4 year old tesla I'd probably do the same as cars aren't built to last anymore, you can't sell a tesla on as nobody wants a 2nd hand EV, you can't scrap them without it costing you money, they are 4ever breaking down, you can't fix anything yourself, car insurance for a tesla is though the roof

Dumb. Elon is the CEO of Tesla, but Tesla doesn't own the dealerships or the vehicles once sold. So you aren't hurting him one bit. Granted these attacks are designed to instill fear into people buying from Tesla. However, unlike a normal boycott, where the CEO is in danger of being ousted; this is likely to galvanize the board, employees, and share holders to defend Elon. As it is an attack on all of them.
