u 1 yIf a girl is interested in dating, I think she should at least be as pretty as Susan Dey when she was a teen.

If she's that pretty, then I'll show her my bank statements.

People in the UK make less for an average year $45,000. Now if you are looking for a husband with that salary, you should know your competition is steep and ruthless I would say.

1 yI think it’s less about the exact salary and more about how responsible, hardworking, and motivated they are. A solid work ethic and ambition go a long way! Plus, it’s all about finding someone who can contribute to the relationship and life in a balanced way. But if we’re talking dream world... a winning lottery ticket wouldn’t hurt. 😜

Problem is MEN still do most of the shitty jobs NO ONE wants to do and women in spite of having generations of "choice" haven't quite gotten around to getting their nails dirty doing those jobs.
Of course the notion that men, being the lower status in society DESERVE to do those menial, non essential, low paid jobs is something no one addresses.

1 yIf that's what you think it should be then your prospects for marriage are going to leave you alone for a very long time. the Number of men that make that much is less than 0.01%. And those that make that much have options, they are unlikely to be loyal.
A man should make enough to take care of his family and him self.
For most men that is between 40,000 and 60,000. The average male aged 35 earns 48,000 annually. Let that sink in. The chances of you actually being with someone who makes as much as you want are slim to none, and that's a common delusion among women.

I was fortunate , to achieve these numbers ( plus ) for around 11 years , but I was sensible with the money because I knew I could not maintain that stress forever.
In USA , 100k plus , is a good number to work toward , once you make 100 , its easier to double from there , but what is more important is.. invest , invest , invest , compounding changes your life one you hit a certain figure.

1 yI think in this economy that's unrealistic unless he's living in San Francisco or an area like it. I would be fine with a hard-working man that makes enough to keep himself afloat and has enough to save up.

1 yThat's a nice goal, but rarely achievable. A person (man or woman) on average makes around $60K per year in the United States.

1 yThat would be great but that is unrealistic. Unless the person is famous or has an incredible job he might make that. If your looking for the man that makes that much a year it going to take a long time to find that and good luck.

Enough to have shelter, food, clothing, the necessities, enough to save and invest a bit.
