President Donald Trump on Tuesday floated the possibility of financial compensation for people who were prosecuted for taking part in the riot at the Capitol in 2021.

Speaking to Newsmax, Trump said he had taken “care” of his supporters who attempted to overturn his 2020 election loss and added there is “talk” about compensating them.

“A lot of the people that are in the government now talk about it because a lot of the people in government really like that group of people,” he said, referring to the Jan. 6 defendants, who he described as protesting “peacefully and patriotically.”

Considering that fact that few of them did anything wrong, yes. Some compensation for losing their jobs and livelihoods and the time they were unjustly locked up by insane Democrats would be fair.

Why weren't the agents provocateurs from the police and FBI ever arrested?
Why weren't capital police who open gates and gave free tours arrested for aiding and abetting?

Accusations against those protestors were a sham and their treatment was akin to something out of a communist dictatorship.

When did Democrats ever lock up antifa and BLM rioters who terrorized, vandalized, looted and committed arson? Oh, that's right, those people were just exercising their first amendment rights.

Yes, these people lost 4years of their lives and many were in squalid conditions. There were also quite a few that were never charged with a crime and were denied due process. 1 million dollars a piece would not be too much.
