Slavery still exists in the form of forced labor and human trafficking, including here in the u. s. Will these ever end, why does it still exist?

Slavery is banned, as of course, it's immoral however, lots of modern day cults, have been discovered to be doing things like forced labor and human trafficking. One of the most famous cults, is NXIVM, and the guy who was in charge, was found to have been doing both. He's now serving a 140 year prison sentence for it, and will likely die in prison.

Why do people still do this, even though, our conception of slavery, is banned

I hope so, I'd like to see those involved finished off... globally. That includes those in middle east, where it is basically legal and Africa... where it's still going. But focusing on USA...

it's an element of personality and wealth. These people we see as sick and evil, and they see themselves as normal, will abuse others for their gain. They don't care what they do to others. This mental illness exists and should be treated sternly to eradicate. I care more about the protection of rats than these thugs.

Send them to Jesus for handling, firing squads required. You have to make a choice between protecting children or protecting your sense of humanity and care fo the sick. take a pick.

Forced labor means cheaper means of production which means corporations that influence the govt with lobbying capabilities get to produce their product at the cheapest rate which allows for their money to grow most effectively.
Human trafficking is an issue plaguing those on the bottom, top priority for politicians are the lobbyists so they can win an election again.

Speaking of human trafficking, there was news coverage of trucks smuggling hundreds of South American / Mexican origin individuals over the border into this country. How do we cut on inhumane transport of individuals seeking a better life? Make it easier to gain legalized citizenship. Those that complain about Mexicans / Migrants crossing the border tend to also not want to make it easier to cross even though low skilled workforce aids the economy.

All I can say is because we have evil people. The laws say what is and is not legal, but that won't stop evil people from doing what they want to others (unfortunately). Human trafficking & slavery is the reason why mom doesn't want me to walk when it gets closer to night, because that's sometimes when the really bad weird people come into the neighborhoods looking for someone just walking around or anyone that's vulnerable. They'll take you and you'll never be seen again by anybody. And if you get saved/rescued, you're lucky, very lucky. My mom even taught me that if I'm ever walking around in a store while she has an appointment there & somebody comes up to me to not go with them because they're kidnappers for traffickers.

LOL, slavery has always existed and will always exist. They just change the name, is all. Look up "working poor" and "prison labour" among the many "new age" iterations of slavery.

White people just cannot work without some sort of slavery to take up their slack.

Well the 13th amendment banned slavery, but nowadays slavery through employment is still legal. Paying workers 10 dollars an hour and making hundreds of millions of dollars a year off the backs of those workers, at the end they tell you f off and replace you.
