Although not nearly to the extent it used to be, we still deal with those ideals. Now the consequences aren’t death, or corporal punishment. No, the new punishment for not being compliant is the ability to be blackballed. They can fire you and keep you out of work for an extended period of time simply for not liking you. Companies are our masters now, and you can have your life ruined for not allowing someone to exploit you. Also being berated, belittled, threatened, all things you’re expected to put up with. If you have a master above you that you don’t allow to have this power of you, then you are expelled with extreme prejudice. Long story short if you don’t stay in your place you will never get ahead, having self dignity will screw you.

You can do many things for work in your life. You might want to work for a particular corporation because you like the idea of getting paid to do that particular career, but you don't have to work for that corporation to earn a living. There are many different jobs in society. Not all will match your resume, but they will pay you if you do the job. This is slavery run by the Democrat party.

I’m an electrician. In the construction/trade industry it’s often like this. The good old boy way is alive and well. Im in school for it and I enjoy the work. The people who take advantage of their power make life hell for people beneath them. On top of that you are trapped, If you quit you’re kicked out of the program.

Golly, it's almost as though there was a POINT to the labor movement, and the labor wars, and having strong unions protected us from both corporate and government control.

I once ate at an Asian restaurant with a friend and she told me the manager used slave labour and exploited an undocumented immigrant for low wages and the employee died from exhaustion and abuse. I have no idea why she took us there to eat if she knew how the manager made his income.
