Generally, yes. Without money, you die.

Why?
The transportation needed to get your butt in an interview seat for a job application, references to allow you to be guaranteed the job position, and the grooming like nice haircut, clean suit, form fitting pants, etc. already would cost money though without money, you’re f#cked.

Heating, water, electricity, phone line, etc. are all accessories to a home or an apartment which cannot be obtained if the individual has no money.

It is really hard to get out of debt, but for billionaires they have millions to lose and still stay afloat with all the opportunities at their disposal. They can gamble on potential business ventures and such, though one bad f#ck up will send you to the soup kitchen by comparison. I don't know why we treat the homeless like disgusting monsters when in reality, any of us could end up in their situation and we should be more compassionate.

The idea that “without money, you die” is a dramatic oversimplification. Yes, money impacts access to things like healthcare and housing, but the U. S. also has safety nets like Medicaid, food assistance, shelters, and charitable services—none of which vanish depending on who’s in office.

And more importantly, Americans still have the freedom and ability to work, build, and earn. People from all over the world come here LEGALLY because they know it’s possible to start with nothing and build a life. Blaming one administration for a systemic issue that’s existed for decades doesn’t solve anything—it just politicizes poverty.

If you really care about the issue, maybe the focus should be on solutions instead of blame.

But if that’s true, shouldn’t we be asking why it’s happening in a city that’s been under Democrat leadership for decades? If progressive policies were the solution, LA should be a model city by now.

Poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity are very real problems—but blaming the entire country or system without acknowledging local leadership and policies doesn’t help anyone. If people are dying in LA, maybe it’s time to look at the people actually running LA.

when we first came to the US. We didn’t have money. We also had debt to our grandparents… we worked in the neighborhood, we walked to our jobs. We ate basic foods… we made the American dream after 15 years of hard work and finishing college. My brother was a college drop out. But he made good choices and now we are all in good places.
America is a great country where opportunities are still plenty.
