The best parents aren’t campaigning for it. Their results speak louder than their posts ever could. Life often has a way of sorting that stuff out.
@Juxtapose TY for sharing whatever that was. This is a another example as to why men produce more productive citizens because the real world operates out of facts not feelings.
Assuming that is truth to that data, family courts rarely give full custody to fathers. So only the most dedicated and monitarily capable fathers have the legal assistance to get sole custody. Kind of skews the data to look like a correlation when there is none. The vast majority of deadbeat parents are fathers
@Stevepro68 "Deadbeat" is a subjective emotional term, however statisticaletrics show that womem overwhelming do worse than single father's when raising children.
Agreed deadbeat is emotional but a commonly understandable notation for a behavior. What statistics where? What is the measurements what are the variable the excluding factors. The multiple lines of evidence. For that matter what is single? I can rattle off many confounding variables community religion, location, urban, rural. I am not trying to be argumentative I would like to know where the data is so I can take a look and see what the quality of the data is showing single fathers and single mothers controlling for all variables but sex have measurable and definable children with improved it desirable traits? Seems impossibly complicated to narrow that down to gender.
@Stevepro68 Not sure that's true, how would an emotional response explain why fathers do better? I never understand the whole "what staristics" If you haven't studied this subject then how can you challenge a position. Do you have stats somewhere that says opposite? As far as tangible metrics. Things live criminal record, Education and Financial success are some of the metrics society uses when judging success.
Ok I have a great deal of training and history in interpretation of research. Albeit medical. So you do have a point. But I am not posing the question? So who are the experts in the field of childhood development that feel single fathers have better outcomes controlling for other variables. I am willing to listen to the preponderance of experts in the field ok.
@Stevepro68 So now understand get it. Just like a medical professional doesn't waste time debating an layman on Medical procedure, Why would debate some who admittedly is ignorant of this subject matter? Go educate yourself, and perhaps you won't feel the need to randomly take an opposing position simply because it makes you feel good. Now if you want me to be the one to educate you, you need to provide value to me.
ok so you are telling me to research and discover on my own the key asumtion of your question? Not my question... Which remains unanswered, is this a question about something real. Or something you think is real but don't really know. And now you want me to prove that your question has merit. Sorry not my responsibility it's yours. Things that can be claimed without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
@Stevepro68 No, I'm telling you that if you want to engage me regarding a subject that you admitted to knowing nothing about you need to educate yourself first. If you want me to educate you on the subject then you need to compensate me for my time.
Probably cos these guys tend to be wife beating alcoholics or kiddy fiddlers.
@purplepoppy That's crazy, so you're saying even wife beating alcoholics, make better parents than women?
