In most cases, father routinely give mothers primary custody wthout fighting about it, because most fathers don't want to be a dad 24/7.

We created for a very long time, men are bread winners.

Women are caregivers. So it became this the child has to go to the woman because she knows how to raise a child more.

We don't live in a world that this is always true.

There are plenty of horrible mothers, and the child would be better being with the father.

Their are plenty of women who are the bread winners as well. We need more of a up to date views on this situation

I think it’s generally accepted, whether it’s accurate or not, that women are more empathetic and nurturing and better suited for full-time child care. I think most judges still cling to those traditional gender roles when deciding custody cases.

There is an argument for men here…but let’s not forget the vast vast majority ARE mothers abandoned by the fathers and not paying child support. So sorry if the brush is wide.
