Scammed by another dentist?

So i've had two dentists tell me they don't want to pull my tooth, or don't pull teeth. Okay fine, but I told them upfront it was broken in half. So if they don't pull teeth, then why don't they tell me that and refer me to someone who does, not charge me $300 and tell me what I already know. lol That's like someone asking me if I fix roofs, so I say I'll take a look and give an opinion, but I don't fix roofs. So I charge $200 to walk around on the roof and point stuff out, then recommend you to a real roofer. I don't have any business even being up there. Make sense?

They are trying to upsell you for an implant. Make few phone calls. You will find somebody who will do it. Bring a leather belt to bite down on.

Just need to go to an oral surgeon. Not a dentist. An implant is the way to go in my opinion. I got one dentist that was willing to do a root canal and and one that said it wasn't possible. Just pull the tooth out for now is all I want done. It's in a spot you can't even see. All I wanted was a second opinion and they said they did extractions, but did the whole bait and switch deal

look for an older dentist. They are less likely to be paying back student loans.
