Should secularism be removed from the constitution? Should the secularism clause, which France passed to eliminate religions, be removed from the American constitution?

You mean the establishment clause? The point of the establishment clause is to protect American's right to freedom of religion by removing the authority of the central government to establish a government dictated religion. Settlers of America wanted to avoid the tyranny of the Church of England which dictated what and how people must believe. In contrast Christianity believes in sharing the good news and making disciples of believers who choose of their own free will to have faith. Forced/coerced conversion isn't in line with Christian beliefs. You can only achieve salvation by God's grace. So to dictate what people are suppose to pretend to believe and get them to mechanically run through the motions of worship with lip service is just hypocrisy. Those people's hearts will be far from God, thus they will not find salvation. America was founded under a set of principles that allow people to find faith through their own free will. That's very important in of itself to find the truth... You have to be free to make the right choice.

As far as I understand, secularism is not meant to fight religions, but rather to avoid these to meddle with the administration of a country. It would mean a serious regression, as well mentally as politically, to remove secularism from any constitution.

Absolutely not. The US is becoming more secular by the day. The most secular nations are the happiest.
