Yes, of course it does. Conservatives just ignore it.

The founders fled from religious tyranny where the government had taken over the church. They didn't want a repeat of that in the new land so they put in a clause that the government could not be involved in the church or religion.
It was never intended that Americans involved in religion could have nothing to do with the government. That is something the communist dreamed up to circumvent our government and prepare it for a take over, which they just successfully accomplished 2 years ago.
Feel free, I collect communist unhappy faces and put em on my dart board. I know your on here.
A high school football coach, prayed after every game. He said a prayer thanking the fact that none of his kids got hurt. The principle of the school told him if he does it one more time he's going to be fired. The coach had no intention to listen to what the principal had to say about it. So they fired him. He got a team of lawyers working pro bono, and they took it all the way to the supreme Court. The supreme Court ruled in favor of the coach. Now all of those pro bono lawyers are suing the school for millions of dollars. The coach doesn't want anything in damages and he doesn't even want his back pay, he just wants to be a coach. But so far they haven't reinstated him yet, so if they don't abide by the courts decision, he's going to sue the shit out of them.

Nice! ... the way it should be!
It says that government should make no law regarding the establishment of religion. It does not include ridiculous interpretations that you can’t call a Christmas tree a Christmas tree.
Of course. It doesn't contain the phrase "separation of Church and state", but the sentiment is very obviously there- especially in light of how it worked in England at the time.
