Is Judge Boasberg’s contempt ruling against Trump overreach or justified?

Judge to launch proceedings to decide if Trump administration defied court order - www.washingtonpost.com/.../

If Judge Boasberg is trying to hold Trump in contempt for enforcing immigration law—even after the Supreme Court already ruled in Trump’s favor—then we’re entering dangerous territory. That’s not just judicial oversight. That’s judicial overreach.
It may not be called a “universal injunction,” but it functions like one: a single judge trying to override the executive branch nationwide. The Constitution doesn’t give any federal judge that kind of power. If the courts can ignore both law and precedent just to punish political opponents, we’ve already lost the balance of powers.
