Yes, everyone should receive healthcare regardless of their ability to pay
No, healthcare is a privilege, NOT a right.

It depends. What is the purpose of a society? What kind of society do you want to live in?
You may be fat, dumb and happy in the middle to upper class. What if one slip up, one accident, moved you into the bottom half of society? Poverty and no healthcare. How you feeling now? Yeah well I don't care. I got mine. Your wife and kids can all die and you can commit suicide by cigarettes and alcohol. You're not my problem. That's the typical MAGA conservative mindset. Every selfish asshole for himself. And fuck the rest. A fine Capitalist society. For the few.
Couldn't have put it better. 🏆 WINNER 🙌🏻
Trumpsters (and many other Americans) don't care. As few taxes as possible, despite schools, infrastructure "health care" and Country in collapse !!!

How DO you reach that point? Asking for 330 million people...
Yes, but I think nearly every first world country has universal healthcare. So we either need to support those countries that just can't afford it, Or make it affordable for everyone. But I mean there are countries who dont even accept water as a human right.
It's the mark of a civilised society to take care of the sick. True a few will abuse the system but you can't water flowers without watering the weeds.

It's humanity to take care of those who need it, profiting from it is abhorrent and should not be rewarded
It is in EVERY OTHER First World country, but America is a banana republic (see:Its dictator!!!) masquerading as the world's richest-ever country.
Nothing is a right which requires the labor of someone else.
We owe each other. That's the cover charge for civilization.
@DrPepper12 we don’t actually.
How do you get to such a bleak view of society? Hobbes would be proud!
@DrPepper12 you didn't teach for free, so STFU.
Americans will not pay the taxes required for universal healthcare
That POV makes you 1 of 15 minority...
But the stupid assholes will pay for expensive for profit private insurance and middlemen like brokers and PBM’s and reinsurers. They’ll pay for profit labs, clinics, and hospitals so a handful of an investor class can profit off someone else’s life or death health problems.
Conservatives are a boat anchor chained to the neck of society.
This is why I call MAGA the stupid ignorant filth of the USA.
Well said @OneViewpoint.
No as it has to be paid for by someone.
Yes. US. Collectively!
@DrPepper12 yes and to access it you have to pay for it, you have that right.
Universal healthcare is unaffordable in the US. Too many obese people. Should a healthy person who has eaten right, exercised, brushed their teeth, avoided doing drugs, drank alcohol in moderation etc be forced to pay double and triple for healthcare for the multitudes of others who have not?
Should a healthy person who has eaten right, exercised, brushed their teeth, avoided doing drugs, drank alcohol in moderation etc *all their lives*
Never heard that question asked in another nation that has UHC. Wonder why that is... 🧐
@DrPepper12 you mean like Britain who is starting to find their NHS difficult to fund due to their rising obesity rates.
Other countries you mention all have McDonald's, KFC, Burger king etc but they don't go in and buy a Family bucket of KFC and a superzized cola and consume it themselves. In Europe obesity is something that is shameful, a sign of laziness and greed but in America it is celebrated and accepted. How many kids in America are obese? That's down to parents overfeeding their kids and not making sure they get enough exercise.
Has any nation ever gone BACKWARDS to the usa American model? I'll wait
@DrPepper12 Britain is currently bit by bit. Canada probably will if obesity rates rise. Like my obese neighbor had to get an xray after a fall on a machine designed for zoo animals. How much extra is that costing? Obesity raises the cost of even the most basic procedure
Yes, I think so.
It should be.
It should be
