1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I would pay a lot of money to see Obama dog walk Trump in a presidential debate. But sadly that is not an option, rewriting the constitution is difficult and 4 years is honestly not really enough time even if everyone went along with it.

@Syntosi The fact that you believe dictatorship is created by following established procedures. Dictators come to power by simply ignoring or changing the rules. A person like cheetoe isn't going to say, "Well I can't keep power because the rules say I can't" Him simply going to erode the rules over a period of time, until eventually it becomes inevitable.
- 1 y
Yes but also no. The president does not have that much power in USA, and Trump even less because of his incompetence and laziness. He is entirely reliant on other people giving him power and usually in exchange for their own self interest.
There are a lot of obstacles that Trump will need other people to clear for him and at this point I see no indication that they are doing it effectively. My position is not baseless hope or belief.

Vance 2024!!!08 Reply- 1 y
@SolitarySolace So you're saying triple shouldn't take the POTUS at his word?
- 1 y
I’m saying people should be able to tell the difference between sarcasm and seriousness
- 1 y
@SolitarySolace Lol, stop it. That's hilarious and excellent way to remove responsibility. When he does run, his cult follers get to say "He told you so" It's an old political strategy called slow desemination. You continue to put the information out, idiots like yourself, pretend it doesn't count. Meanwhile you continue to move in the direction you've been saying you would. Cheetoes, smartest move was to market himself to the bottom 20% of Americans as they are too dumb to know any better.
- 1 y
You can cry all you want about him being the president. It won’t change anything. And I am planning on voting for Vance come 2028. Until then, I’m going to enjoy EVERYTHING President Trump is doing. Especially if it pisses off people like you. 🙂
- 1 y
You going to vote for AOC in 2028? I know you’re against feminism and she is a feminist. Soooooo
- 1 y
Wow… Strawman, Ad hominem, AND Overgeneralization all in one comment. Well done, @Vegasrunner
- Eva ❤️ - 1 y
@SolitarySolace If you truly believe that cheetoe is going to relinquish power than, you validated why people believe he markets to the dumbest 10% Enjoying another failure only highlights this fact.
- 1 y
@SolitarySolace If we are allowed to vote in 2028 I would absolutely vote for AOC provided her policies aligned with mine. Not sure why you believe I'm against feminism, but it once again shows the lack of intelligence of a person voting for a bankruptcy casino owner for president.
Anonymous(25-29)1 yIf Hillary can beat him by 3M votes and Biden by 7M, Obama might beat him by 20M. But the racist insults he could spew 24/7 would be too much for him to pass up.

1 yTrump just can't change the Constitution, presidents have no control over a constitutional amendment.
135 Reply- 1 y
@David318578 That's the kind of comment that highlights the ignorance of his followers. "He" physically can't change, the constitution, is why "He" puts the people in place who cam. Also part of the trajectory of dictators is the slowly erode rights, and liberties of the people. They cam get away w/ this as long as they have the support of enough brainwashed citizens. Case in point
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner a constitutional amendment is not "getting away with it". And you call me ignorant? Lol
Amending the construction is a bipartisan process, Trump does not have close to the support with just the Republicans.
To propose an amendment, either two-thirds of both houses of Congress must vote in favor, or two-thirds of state legislatures must petition Congress to call a national convention to propose amendments. Then, for an amendment to be ratified, it must be approved by three-fourths of the state legislatures or by conventions in three-fourths of the states.
The only way this happens is if Democrats also overwhelmingly support it as well.
It's a good thing I'm here to help you in other areas other than your woman problems. Glad I can set you straight on the Construction and the amendment process - 1 y
@David318578 You're making my point. You're viewing cheetoe as someone who plays by rules. A dictator shapes the rules for their benifit.
- 1 y
I didn't make your point I educated you on your misunderstanding of how the constitution is amended.
Also calling someone a dictator does don't make them a dictator also does not magically change how the law works - 1 y
@David318578 Not only did you make my point, I've already used it to validate my argument. Have you given thought to the fact this subject may be over your head?
- 1 y
You asked if Trump changed the constitution to allow 3 terms.. he can't. So no I didn't make your point, all I did was show how your question was flawed.. So unless your question was an exercises in showing the ignorance in people's understanding of the constitution?
or was your point that you are also clueless on how amendments work? If that was your point then yes I guess I helped you show how clueless it was.
- 1 y
@David318578 Never asked anything like that, that's something you made up because your point has no value w/out it.
- 1 y
Your confused again.. look to the top of the page where you asked this "If Trump changes the constitution to allow for a third term..." See where you started your question about Trump changing the constitution?
- 1 y
@David318578 Impossible to be confused when I wrote the question. Only confusion seems to ne on your end
- 1 y
There is no confusion on my end your question was "IF Trump changes the constitution" I responded with "He Can't" ending the absurdity of your question.
Glad I could set you straight again - 1 y
@David318578 Proably should have said when Cheetoe tries, but I decided to give benifit if the doubt. Also your response is incorrect and contradicts what dictators have done throughout history.
- 1 y
My response would of been the same regardless if you worded it "If he changes the constitution" or "if he tries to change the Constitution" the answer to both of them is "he can't"
- 1 y
@David318578 So you would be wrong in either case.
- 1 y
Nope, as I have pointed out in the constructional amendment process, the president has the exact same amount of power to amend the constitution as you do.. which is non, other then winning and crying about it..
- 1 y
@David318578 All you have pointed out is the weakness of low level thinking. At one time the constitution acknowledged Bla ks as 3/5ths of a person and outlawed drinking. Continuing to make a ridiculous claim about limited change only proves your own lack of intelligence
- 1 y
I have outlined how amendments happen, you are still struggling with how it works.
Why dont you be specific on how you think Trump is going to amend the constitution and I will point out why it won't work.
So how is he going to amend the constitution? - 1 y
@David318578 You have outlined your personal feelings about the subject. The fact that you are actively seeking to explain how a position won't work, only validates my point. TY for sharing this.
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner no I have outlined the facts on the subject. You still seem confused so again, tell me how Trump is going to amend the constitution so he can run for 3 terms.
- 1 y
@David318578 If you have facts to provide im all ears.
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner sure, tell me how you think Trump can change the Constitution and I post the facts about why you are wrong
- 1 y
@David318578 If you are already taking a position on information you haven't received it just proves you're more interested in arguing vs learning.
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner nonsense, for me to learn your position, you have to tell me your position. Your original question was "If Trump changes the constitution"
So please be specific on how you think Trump could do that. - 1 y
@David318578 Your intrest isn't in learning, if it was you wouldn't be saying how you're going to tell someone they're wrong b4 you know the position. Like most low level thinkers your intrest is in arguing. Person provides a position you provide a terrible counteragument and attempt to declare yourself the winner, similar to Cheetoe
- 1 y
Not interested in arguing, there is no argument here, you are wrong, that has already been established by facts. Trump can not change the Constitution, that's not within the power of the president. So again there is no argument. But I am interested in learning why you think he can. So I offered you the opportunity to explain why you think that.
You keep avoiding doing so, which leaves only 2 options. You know you're wrong but don't want to admit it. Or you are just parroting something that someone else said and have no clue about the subject matter so can't give reasons.
- 1 y
@David318578 I agree there is no argument, as you don't seem to grasp the statement. TY for proving me right.
- 1 y
Then by all means explain how Trump can change the Constitution.
- 1 y
@David318578 Ah so you're saying you won't vote first Cheetoe when he runs for a 3rd term?
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner you seem to be confused, maybe you replied to the wrong person. We where not talking about voting, you must of had that conversation with someone else.
Our conversation was about how you think Trump can change the Constitution, you where going to explain how he was going to do that. - 1 y
@David318578 I have political conversations w/ tons of people, however I limit the obes I have w/ low level thinkers.
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner so you only keep to low level thinkers? Makes sense on why you keep avoiding saying why you think Trump can change the Constitution. I'm way out of your league for this debate and you only stick to low level thinkers who are in your league.
- 1 y
@David318578 That's an odd statement considering I said the opposite. This is why O don't spend a ton of time educating low level thinkers. TY for validating my point
- 1 y
@Vegasrunner you are confused again. Here is your quote..
"I have political conversations w/ tons of people, however I limit the obes I have w/ low level thinkers."
So you have lots of conversations, but your conversations are limited to low level thinkers.. it's literally what you wrote...
So you avoiding having a political debate because I'm out of your league and you need to stick to your fellow "low level thinkers" - 1 y
@David318578 Lol, TY for proving my point. The sentence you shared literally means, I want to spend less time w/ low level thinkers partly because as you just showed they lack things like basic reading comprehension skills.
- 1 y
No that's not what your sentence said. Here it is again "I have political conversations w/ tons of people, however I limit the obes I have w/ low level thinkers."
You didn't word it to separate your statements, the "limit it to low level thinkers" is a description of your conversations.
What you should of done is word it so it's not a description of your conversations, so for instance "I limit the number of low level thinkers I have conversations with because I find them boring" that shows that most of your conversations are not with low level thinkers.
What you wrote is all your conversations are with low level thinkers.
Good thing I'm here to set you straight again - 1 y
@David318578 While I appreciate you being a fan, your intepretation of a sentence I wrote is wrong, so it's not really worth my time to educate you on reading comprehension ability.
1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. From what I heard - it is meant to be written in a way, that you can't run, if you already served two concecutive terms. Which would exclude Clinton, Bush and Obama but not Trump.

He can’t. I doubt he’d even try

I’ve never seen anyone run A 3rd term. That’s all I know
- 1 y
I did. And that won’t happen. So I’m not worried about one man can’t re write the constitution
- 1 y
He’s never talked about it. He can’t! Trump can’t either! No one is allowed to run 3rd term! It’s the law
