When Trump tries to run for a third term should Obama be allowed to run for a third term as well?

Neither should be allowed that, but yes logically if Trump finds a loophole obama can use the same loophole to run again unless they find something hyper specific bullshit excuse such as "I already won 3 times, so I am entitled to run again".

Whats more likely is that there's ways to become the president again that are legit. Such as for example Trump running as vice president and then them swapping which I think is above board. If its a tactic like that Obama could do the same thing, and I still suspect him of being the shadow president behind the Biden administration since Biden clearly wasn't able to lead.

Its not so black and white, the constitution forbids being elected a third time. That leaves a lot of rooms open to interpretation and at that point you'd have a constitutional crisis on your hands. I doubt he will actually do it, but I think he's crazy enough to try. If he does I hope people won't be complicit in the plan and vote against him out of principle.

But one theoretical way is a throwaway presidential candidate whose only policy is that he will step down as soon as he is elected and make way for vice president trump. Even if that were to be blocked, its not blocked that Trump is the vice president from what I understand. So if Trump has an accomplice he could still be the defacto president even if he's not on paper.
