From a humanitarian viewpoint, probably should be at least temporarily until their environment can be stabilized or determine where they live is not habitable, and permanent home found.

in this day and age, letting humans starve and blowing them to bits says we have not improved much as a species. But then again, some areas like Africa have an overpopulation issue... having 6+ kids and not as good production to support them. That needs to change. USA and few others have been feeding so many.
