I would say it depend on the situation, sometime I make an idiot joke so not very useful but not bad either, I mean everyone could just do without hearing it but I'm not hurting anybody but on other more serious matter if what you have to say is gonna hurt then it may be a better idea to not say anything.

In my line of work not everything that needs to be said will be "beautiful" but it's necessary to say.

Information, instruction or queries do not have to be perceived as having aesthetic qualities as long as the intent is carried accurately and properly. Trying to sound like you're reciting something prepared comes across as conceited and arrogant.

Tell it like it is or sing at karaoke, poetry recitals or on stage.
