How do you feel about the death of representative Gerry Connolly?

Gerald "Gerry" Connolly was a Democrat, who represented Virginia's 11th Congressional District (which was located in northern Virginia and covered most of DC suburbs) since 2008. The cause of his death was esophageal cancer. Due to his illness, Connolly planned not to run for reelection in 2026 and retire from politics, to focus on his health, but died before that. He was 75 years old.

I was not aware of him. I suspect that he was a liberal democrat, based on his district, but I would not wish this on anyone.
