I don't think its a coincidence that most men that are in jail and most female sex workers were raised in single mother homes.

No, it is the opposite. Decreased morals has led to the rise of single motherhood. The welfare system has greatly contributed to it as well.

@Ariesman81 When I was a kid there was a lot of shame involved in having an illegitimate child. Now they think nothing of putting the birth announcement in the newspaper.

Yeah... there were a lot of pregnant brides in order to avoid that shame too. Not the healthiest marriages resulted either. I do agree though, a father in the household is the better outcome.
