1, How high will they raise "retaliation" import taxes?

2, When u. s. mails or export to any country, the recipient pays several types of taxes to the country, in which he is located. This is considered good for the locals, so people will buy local instead of import.

Only trump is considered bad for doing the SAME. So they talk about retaliated increases... how can nobody but me notice, if raising import tax in u. s. is bad for u. s. then...

it would be bad for the other countries to raise import taxes... they wouldn't do something to HARM themselves... would they?

3, On the other hand, if raising import tax is good, as nobody accused about retaliation, then people should not say it is bad , when trump does same, just kuz they hate trump?

4, If a country, say india , has a tax of, say 25% on imports, and trump says lower it to 0, or i will charge you SAME 25% then... it would be same, so what is this silly "retaliation " ?

5, would raise it to 30 or 40... which u. s. can match? So how high will the 2 sides raise? 150% 200%?

6, And if it is bad , as people believed when trump did it, why not criticism those who "retaliated " for "causing price hikes"?

7, You don't need 95% of maximum iq' to notice this, do you?

I think all the panic selling on Wall street has been overblown. The fake news wants to see President Trump fail so they scare the crap out of people and tell them prices will skyrocket. Meanwhile the inflation rate has been steadily decreasing since Jan 20th. Nobody said a peep when Biden was president and every week we would see prices at the gas pump and the supermarket actually go up week after week./At the end of his 4 years prices of everything was almost doubled.
Foreign companies like Nissan and Volkswagen are absorbing tariffs and retail giants Home Depot and Target will not raise prices. This sends billions to the treasury to help balance the budget.
You are correct to assume if putting a tariff on American made goods is good for foreign countries than why is the US putting tariffs on foreign made goods bed for the US? The US is the biggest, most lucrative market in the world. If nobody in the US will but Chinese made junk they will be bankrupt in a matter of months.
