it's almost impossible to do an entire reset. you'd have to kill every man or lock them up for breeding. segregate mothers from children and dispose of the females when they aren't prime age range. it's starting to look like an orphanage but kids hold onto their stress before the age of 4 even. so that's a very warped world at least for a few generations.

i have a brilliant friend that is very versed on this topic. i recall him teaching me this almost 20 years ago, but i think it was current or considered current at the time. i hear a lot of debate about emotions overriding intellect in these circles and it's idiotic to justify killing innocent people. but emotions for now don't win.
